Sheep and Goats and Chickens, Oh My!

Robin Hills Farm continues to develop its livestock operations, and we are happy to announce that we’ve added goats and chickens to the list! 2015 was our first year raising sheep and rainbow trout, and we felt like that we were successful enough with that so we'd further diversify! With a new livestock manager devoted solely to the livestock, we now have approximately 150 egg-laying chickens, all heritage breeds, two Nubian goats, and ten sheep (Suffolk, Dorset, and Babydoll). The new additions also forced us to get creative with the infrastructure needs of the new residents (i.e. brooder and coop). To solve the problem, we repurposed some old shipping containers!!

The animals are one of the highlights during our weekly tours on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 12 noon. Come see us!!
