The Nest is a distinctively local cocktail bar and kitchen located on Robin Hills Farm just outside of Chelsea, MI. We use fresh and made-from-scratch ingredients in both our gourmet comfort food and premier craft cocktails.

$4 house wine, $5 tall boys, $6 well drinks

THE CHEFS
Meet our chefs, husband and wife team, Phil and Vanessa Coulson. In 2007, after many years at Ford Motor Company, Phil moved from his home in Detroit to Boston where he met Vanessa. In the ten years in Boston, Phil and Vanessa cooked a variety of cuisines from French to Italian and then some under many well-respected chefs. Additionally, they both held the title of Executive Chef in each of their respective restaurants.
After getting married in 2017, Phil and Vanessa moved to the west coast of Michigan. In 2020, they purchased their first home in Grass Lake. Shortly after that, they opened their food truck, Sanich Union. While owning their own food truck was both exciting and challenging, they both longed for their own restaurant. As luck would have it, Robin Hills Farm was looking for someone to head their kitchen and make the dream of The Nest Cocktail Bar & Kitchen a reality!
Now Chef Phil and Chef Vanessa have the opportunity to showcase their true talents as well as their love of food, their craft and each other.
